Culmullen National School is situated in a beautiful rural setting beside Culmullen Church in the parish of Dunshaughlin. The school was originally a typical country two teacher school but was extended in the 1970's.  It was further extended and completely refurbished in 2011.

On staff, there are four class teachers, one learning support teacher, one resource teacher and two Special Needs Assistants. There is also a part-time secretary. Class sizes are usually twenty to twenty-five pupils in total per room.

Please browse our website for news and information. Prospective parents are encouraged to attend our annual Open Day, which is usually held in January or February. (This year's was on the 23rd January). If you missed the Open Day, please contact the school for information or to arrange a visit. New parents and children will be invited to the school at the end of June to meet the class teacher and to receive an information pack .

Culmullen National School is a Catholic, rural, mixed school under the Patronage of the Bishop of Meath and run by the Board of Management. This school aims to provide a caring, nurturing environment, where  children can achieve their potential, grow in faith and develop their unique skills and talents across the broad range of the curriculum so that when they leave this school, they will have a life-long love of learning and deep respect for themselves, each other and the world around them.
