Culmullen National School is situated in a beautiful rural setting beside Culmullen Church in the parish of Dunshaughlin. The school was originally a typical country two teacher school but was extended in the 1970's. It was further extended and completely refurbished in 2011.
On staff, there are four class teachers, one learning support teacher, one resource teacher and two Special Needs Assistants. There is also a part-time secretary. Class sizes are usually twenty to twenty-five pupils in total per room.

(This year's was on the 23rd January). If you missed the Open Day, please contact the school for information or to arrange a visit. New parents and children will be invited to the school at the end of June to meet the class teacher and to receive an information pack .
